Bernardo Gómez-Pimienta founded and has been managed bgp arquitectura as multidisciplinary study dedicated to creation and research architecture and design, developing projects of different types and scales: from products, furniture, houses, buildings to cultural, industrial and commercial parks and urban development with projects in the United States, Spain, Europe, Asia, Latin America and Mexico. His most recognized projects include the Ave Fenix fire station,

the City of the Books in La Ciudadela in Mexico City. This office currently focuses on the regeneration of Presidente Masaryk Avenue. He has constructed relevant international works like the Mexican pavilions in the book fairs in Paris, France; Bogota, Colombia and Kolkata, India, between 2009 and 2010. Bgp architectura’s philosophy advocates a critical, sustainable and humane architecture designed for habitation and reflection of its time.
