Habita Books Store The book store is next to the lobby of the Habita Hotel and stocks a wide range of art and graphic arts books. Glass was the only compositional material, in order to create as much transparency as possible for the books and to ensure that this small space did not feel claustrophobic. It also repeats the concept of the glass used predominantly on the façade of the hotel.
Two parallel bookstands made of glass as a structural material form the exhibition area. Two glass doors can close off the space at night. The resulting design strikes a delicate balance between industrial design and architecture, creating a space that is in dialogue with the building and functioning as a piece of design in its own right.
